Kyler Rodgers

Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you for visiting my page. I'm participating in the Herndon High School baseball Hit-a-thon on Saturday, 23 September 2023, 9am-12pm to raise money for team equipment and field renovations.

I'll get 10 pitches to hit the baseball as far as I can. I expect I'll hit it at least 300 feet, but I'm hoping to hit it further. I'm asking you to sponsor me in a per hit donation. A $5 per hit sponsorship, with 10 hits would be a $50 contribution. If you would rather make a fixed donation, the team will gladly accept that as well.

Thank you for all of your support and encouragement.

About this fundraiser:

**WEATHER UPDATE**
There will be no event this Saturday due to the forecasted rain.
We are instead going to run Hit-A-Thon activities during the green day practices. We'd like to get all the Hit-a-thon swings completed in September, but players can use any Tue/Thu Green Day to complete their Hit-A-Thon swings. Thanks for everyone's flexibility and understanding. We'll post the final results once completed.

Checks can be brought to the green day practices. Please make checks payable to HHSBPC. The Herndon High School Baseball Parents Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
All money raised supports the Herndon High School Baseball Team and facility.

About this fundraiser:
This year's Hit-A-Thon will be the primary fundraiser for our baseball team. Tax deductible donations will go towards purchasing equipment for the players and improving our home field.

For the Hit-A-Thon, players will get 10 pitches and their furthest hit baseball will be their score (in measured feet).

To add to the fun, we're going to let any player who hits or clears the fence at Herndon HS participate in a Homerun Derby. These players will get 10 pitches (pitches they swing at) to hit as many homeruns as they can. Swing and missed balls will count towards these 10 pitches, but foul balls will not count towards the 10 pitches.

These players will learn many life lessons on the baseball field beyond the fundamentals of the sport. Please know that no donation is too small. Your ongoing support of our players is truly appreciated. Whether you donate or not, we'd love to see you come out and support your player on Saturday, 23 September 9am-Noon at the Herndon High School Baseball Field. Please come when you're available during this window.

Because the players like to compete, we're going to track their progress by class year (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior). The class with the highest amount raised will have bragging rights until next year.

We look forward to an amazing season and thanks again for supporting Herndon High School baseball!
