Dear Family Friends and Supporters

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to you on behalf of the Richmond Steel Scholars, a dedicated group of young athletes who have achieved remarkable success in the field of sports and education.

This year the team is currently 9-0 and are currently invited to Nationals in Southern California, but the team has the potential to play at the National level is Naples, Florida. The team carries 24 players and 10 coaches and whichever road we follow, it will be an experience of a lifetime for our youth.

I am reaching out to humbly request your support through a donation to help us attend the national tournament. In order to compete in Florida, we must win in Southern California. The one complication on this journey is, if our team plays in the Regional game, we must travel to Florida or the entire Steelers organization will be banned from AYF football for 5 years. As you can see there is major risk in our upcoming decisions and this fundraiser can help tremendously with making our next decision.

Our team has worked tirelessly and has achieved first place in our league and are working towards obtaining first place and back to back championships. Now we are determined to return to the national stage and bring back our second consecutive national championship for the city of pride and purpose.

In order to make this dream a reality, we are seeking financial assistance to cover the expenses associated with the trip. Our estimated expenses include lodging, food, and travel for the players and coaches. We plan to find the most cost-effective way of traveling without compromising the comfort and safety of our team.

We firmly believe that this opportunity to compete at the national level will not only be a valuable experience for our players but also a chance to represent our community with pride. By supporting our team, you will be investing in the future of these young athletes and providing them with an unforgettable opportunity to showcase their skills and dedication.
