About this fundraiser:

READING:

Our goal for the 2024 Read-a-Thon is for our students to meet their reading goal each day of our two-week program from January 29 - February 11 as follows:

Kindergarten - 10 minutes per day
1st Grade - 15 minutes per day
2nd Grade - 15 minutes per day
3rd Grade - 20 minutes per day
4th Grade - 20 minutes per day
5th Grade - 25 minutes per day

Students who meet their daily reading goal each day of the week will be entered to win weekly raffle prizes and Read-a-Thon Grand Prizes. Our goal is to get the kids excited about reading and help them start a daily reading habit that they can continue even after this challenge is over.


FUNDRAISING:

This year, we have some new and exciting changes:

1. Fundraising Goal: The profit from this year's Read-a-Thon will go toward New Curtains and Basketball Hoops for the School Gym!

2. You Choose How to Donate: Whether you donate by credit card or PayPal on 99 Pledges, by Venmo @DogwoodPTO, by check made out to "Dogwood Hill School PTO", or by cash, your donations will count toward your student's total on their 99 Pledges page and will be reflected on the 99 Pledges main page.

4. Per-Minute Donations: We are excited to be able offer donors to the change to pledge "per-minute" donations. Please see your student's page for more details and suggested amounts.

5. Student Rewards: Students will receive cumulative prizes based on the amount they raise during the Read-a-Thon:
