About this fundraiser:

Welcome to the 2024 Kentfield Schools Readathon!

This Readathon is a district-wide, community-building event which encourages our children's love of reading and books while also raising money for the Kentfield Schools PTA (KSPTA).

At Bacich, March 13 will be dedicated to reading with special assemblies, author visits and even local celebrity readers. At Kent, Readathon activities will take place from March 11-14.

In support of the Readathon, our incredible students will read more than 200,000 minutes just that week!

The money donated helps to pay for valuable KSTPA-sponsored programming including free Community Events (Back to School Events, Book Fair, Game and Movie Nights, Winter Market), Grant Program & Teacher Stipends, Parent Education (Guest Speakers and Subject Matter Experts), Staff Events (Teacher Appreciation events, Staff Breakfasts), Student & School Events (Assembly enrichments, Grade parties & dances, Earth Day, Maker Fair, Talent Shows), Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (“We all Belong” t-shirts, school magnets, etc), Classroom and Garden Supplies, Yearbooks, Spiritwear and more.
