About this fundraiser:

Our annual Walk-A-Thon is an important fundraising and community-building event. This year students will focus on moving to support their community on May 30th.

K-12 education remains significantly underfunded at both the state and district levels. The Bellevue School District is now facing a staggering $20 million budget shortfall for the 2025–2026 school year—an unprecedented gap that will have serious consequences for schools like Clyde Hill Elementary. With over 600 students from diverse economic backgrounds, Clyde Hill is bracing for deep cuts: fewer teachers and staff, limited classroom resources, larger class sizes, and diminished student support. In response, the Clyde Hill PTA is working hard to bridge these gaps and ensure every student continues to have access to the programs and tools they need to succeed.

Given the significant impact the budget shortfall will have on our school next year including the lack of an assistant principal, 2 fewer General School Assistants (GSAs) and the loss of the PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports) Specialist, the PTA has set an ambitious goal to raise $30,000 during the walk-a-thon this year. This would help provide funds for an additional part time GSA as well as other school and PTA needs.

Your donations will help pay for:

  • GSAs - provide a safe school environment
  • Curriculum Support - field trips, software, books & other
  • Community Events like Bingo Night, Heritage Festival & more
