About this fundraiser:

Welcome to the 2025 Kentfield Schools Readathon!

This Readathon is a district-wide, community-building event which encourages our children's love of reading and books while also raising money for the Kentfield Schools PTA (KSPTA).

March 3rd through March 7th will be school days to celebrate reading. Reading-themed special activities and visiting assemblies will create a fun-filled educational week for all students. We anticipate each child at Bacich and Kent will read approximately 200 minutes between home and school during our Readathon.

The money donated helps to pay for valuable KSTPA-sponsored programming including:

* Free Community Events (Back to School Events, Book Fair, Game and Movie Nights, Winter Market)
* Grant Program & Teacher Stipends
* Parent Education (Guest Speakers and Subject Matter Experts)
* Staff Appreciation (Teacher Appreciation Events and Staff Breakfasts)
* Student & School Events (Assembly Enrichment, Grade-level Parties, School Dances, Earth Day, Talent Shows)
* Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Items
* Library & Library Books
* Yearbooks
* Spiritwear
