PlayforHer is an initiative dedicated to honoring those who have fought, are currently fighting, or will one day fight breast cancer. Through raising awareness and funds for research, we aim to bring hope and progress to this fight.

In just two years, thanks to the generosity of the college golf community, we have raised over $455,000. We have donated this money directly to oncologists who are pushing the boundaries on breast cancer research and therapies.

This year, we will honor Coach Emily Fletcher at Northwestern University. Coach Em was diagnosed in 2010 and completed treatment in 2011. She is a 15-year survivor and also, the reigning 2025 National Champion and Coach of the Year!! Funds raised in honor of Coach Emily will be given to Stanford oncologist Dr. Jennifer Caswell-Jin to support her unique efforts in developing a breast cancer vaccine!

In 2023, we honored Coach Nancy McDaniel (1966-2024) raising $290,000 for Dr. Hope Rugo's research at UCSF.

In 2024, we dedicated our fundraiser to Arizona State Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye and her late sister, Heather Farr. Heather was diagnosed at the age of 23 and lost her battle five years later. Coach Missy is a TWO-time survivor of breast cancer. We raised over $165,000 for Dr. Allison Kurian and the Stanford Breast Cancer Center.

ONE in EIGHT women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Together, we can change the future for our student-athletes, families, and friends.

No donation is too small - every contribution makes a difference and will be greatly impactful in our efforts to raise awareness!
