About this fundraiser:

The Hillside Elementary Read-a-Thon is a school-wide event that encourages our students to explore reading and expand their curiosity, imagination and knowledge.

We are challenging and encouraging our students with a personal reading goal to read in every way they can (picture books, chapter books, audiobooks, listening to family members read, etc.) and mark as many days as they can on their reading log for two weeks.

In addtion, we have a school-wide Fundraising Goal of $5,000!

The money raised helps support PTO sponsored events, programs and impactful educational resources such as "Meet the Author" asemblies, equipment and materials for specials, Lego League robotics kits, World Cultural Fair, community events, staff recognition/appreciation, and more!

In addition, all funds raised over $5000 will go directly into the Playground Improvement Fund.
