About this fundraiser:

J.O. Wilson Elementary School is a District of Columbia Public School in the Northeast quadrant of Washington, DC. Our mission is: At J.O. Wilson Elementary School we are SOARing to Success Every Day in Every Way. We are fortunate to have a talented and diverse staff who strive to honor our school-wide promises to our students by: creating an environment in which joy, pride, positive interactions, and growth mindsets lead students to comfort in taking risks, self-advocating, and facing adversity.

Students of the Cardinal Drama Players will present a year-end Spring Production to the JO Wilson school and surrounding community.

We would love for our full cast of students to participate in a "Theater Experience" by going to see a Broadway production. This matters to us because we want our young actors to have the opportunity to be inspired by seeing professional actors. We anticipate taking a group of approximately 30 students total which would be comprised of second, third, fourth and fifth graders. . Bus transportation, snacks and a meal would be provided for the students.

We also ensure that the theater experience our students engage in is high quality. This includes the use of high quality sound and light tools along with customized costumes and sets.

With your support, we are looking forward to an amazing spring performance on May 17-18, 2024!
