About this fundraiser:

Discovery students are fortunate enough to go on an average of 8 field trips each year, benefit from classroom enrichments, learn through project-based learning opportunities, and experience our school's non-traditional education philosophy where students are treated as co-creators in the learning process, as individuals with ideas that deserve acknowledgment and consideration.

All of these wonderful things do come at a price, and that is where Laps for Learning comes in! We count on students to take an active role in Laps for Learning, reaching out to those around them to get support. We encourage students to think of creative ways to ask grandparents, aunts/uncles, friends, and neighbors for a flat pledge of support. We hope that each child will aim for $150 in pledges.
