About this fundraiser:

We are a school where student learning thrives and children feel good about the place they call their school. We believe that this is because of the incredible students that attend our school, the awesome staff who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning and more importantly the incredible support of our families. We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support.

The donations collected from our Fun in the Sun fundraiser will go to supplies for an exciting new unit in P.E. with Mrs. Mitchell...CARDIO DRUMMING! This is a brand-new unit that combines cardio workouts with drumming to music! We will explore how our muscles must work in different ways to raise our heart rates while having fun to music! This activity requires equipment that our gym does not currently have but would be a wonderful addition to our program for all grade levels. We will need large yoga balls, buckets, and drumsticks for each student in the class. In addition to the cardio drumming equipment, I would also like to acquire several fitness trampolines to use in movement stations for all grade levels. These will also be a great addition to our sensory equipment! Thank you for supporting our P.E. department here at North Jefferson. My mission is to encourage all students to live active, healthy lives and find the joy in fitness!

Students will track the time and physical activity on a chart provided and will return on April 12th.
