About this fundraiser:

Devon Leondis, Founder and Executive Director of Project Nyame Nsa, recently visited OCS sharing in chapel and Bible classes the needs of her organization’s expansion into Zambia. There are 1.2 million children under the age of 15 in Zambia, and 400,000 of these children are categorized as orphans. Devon shared with our students her vision for The Village of Hope in Zambia, a new complex that will become home to up to 100 of the most highly vulnerable orphans.

On Tuesday, December 3, all of our students will “Walk for Zambia”! The students will be walking laps on our football field in their Leadership Teams. Each team member is encouraged to participate and reach an individual goal of $175.00. Special surprises await those teams who work together to meet their goals.

Our fundraising goal is $17,500 which, when matched by an anonymous donor, will be enough ($35,000) to build one of the twelve homes in the Village of Hope.

Your donations will help pay for:

  • One of 12 homes to be built in the Village of Hope in Zambia
