The Vallejo Mill PTA is holding its first and only major fundraising event for this school year: The Dolphin Dash 2020 - Virtual Edition. Due to the shelter-in-place orders in March, our original running event was postponed. Therefore, we were unable to fund raise ahead of time for the 2020/2021 academic school year. We know many students miss their friends, classmates and teachers and hope that this virtual event brings an opportunity to connect with one another during this time of “social distancing”.

The Dolphin Dash consists of 15-30 min of daily exercise where students can walk/run/bike/stroll anywhere they want. We encourage families to get out and exercise together.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 which would help subsidize the cost of the multi-use room shade structure and benches, support PTA events/activities and the Teacher’s Wishlist Program.

Because this event is run by our PTA volunteers, 100% of your donations will come back to the PTA and keep PTA events free or of little cost to our Vallejo Mill families. If each student is able to raise $50 of sponsorship, we will be able to reach our goal.

Therefore, we would like to ask if you would be willing to donate to our school. You can sponsor students per day of exercise (for five days) or a single donation for each student.

Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing support is truly appreciated.

Your donations will help pay for:

• Build shade structure adjacent to Multi-Use Room
• PTA sponsored family activities like such as Cultural Night.
• Support teachers with wishlist items
