About this fundraiser:

We are the Hanover community negatively affected by the Pentagon sized Wegmans' distribution center planned at the corner of Sliding Hill and Ashcake Roads. We have settled in our neighborhoods for the beauty of the land, historical nature of the area, and great school systems.
While this development threatens our community, Wegmans is not a done deal. The parcel of land contains significant wetlands which we believe have been underestimated. Due to growing concern, DEQ has announced a public hearing will be held on July 20th.
We are an awesome community. This is because of the incredible people that live in it and more importantly the incredible support of our families and friends.
We could not engage in the quest to protect our wetlands and our community without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.

Walking begins on July 4th and ends July 31st.
