About this fundraiser:

We are a school but most importantly we are a community of Muslims, where students’ learning thrives and children feel good about the place they call their ‘second home’. Al Noor School’s doors have been open for more then 25 years and so has its playground equipment.
We can honestly say it needs an update!
We are in the process of updating it and have been given a city grant of $30,000 to help replace our equipment and redo the flooring. Unfortunately, the current cost is $162,879.41 (Quotes and Specs are on our website alnoornyc.org).
Previously, we were unable to allow all elementary classes to enjoy the equipment due to the height and weight restrictions from the equipment being so old. But with the renovation, this would be a great opportunity to have a safe place where all our elementary students can enjoy their recess.
Our new playground equipment can definitely become a reality with your help and generous donations. Our amazing staff can use the help of an exciting outdoor space to liven their lessons and experiences for all of our preschool to elementary students.
We can not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support.
Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.
