About this fundraiser:

In combination with Bear Creek's end-of-year Fun Run activity, the school plans to raise funds to improve our outdoor spaces. Students at Bear Creek have limited outdoor spaces based either on availability or accessibility. Mr. Klose and Mrs. Black are spearheading a fundraising effort to raise $20,000 dollars to add swings, sensory panels, and accessible equipment for the enjoyment of all students and the community. This fundraiser will provide us with funds to start adding some of this equipment to our playground area. We are planning a phased approach to this endeavor over the course of the next few years. We have already received $5000 from the Elizabethtown Area Educational Foundation and a commitment from the school district to contribute funds to the project as well. These funds already get us almost halfway to this year’s goal. Our Bear Creek PTO has also agreed to contribute to the fundraising effort. The PTO is providing prizes, snacks, and volunteers for the event. Please consider making a donation to better serve our students and our community. The BC Fun Run is taking place on Friday, May 12.
