About this fundraiser:

The Burbank High School Instrumental Music Association is dedicated to giving students the opportunity to grow musically, socially, and academically. Through musical performance, students learn how to perform and appreciate music of a variety of styles and levels of difficulty. Through group involvement, students learn how to work together to achieve common goals and achievements that are more personal and develop self-discipline. Through the study of harmony, scales, and rhythms, students develop skills that will allow them to truly understand and appreciate the foundation of music as well as aesthetics.

This year, our students have two amazing opportunities to attend.

The first is the Disneyland Instrumental Workshop on January 31st, where our students will get the chance to perform in a professional recording studio. They will learn a repertoire of Disney music and hone fundamental skills while getting lessons from a music professional who will give insights about the industry. Once done, the kids will have the chance to enjoy the park! The cost for this is $245.

The second is the Harmony Honors Anaheim Festival on March 28th where they will be able to perform at the Crystal Cathedral and take advantage of leadership and composition workshops. They will also be assessed by professional adjudicators and will learn valuable lessons in a clinic after their performance. The cost for this is $190 per student.

The total for both events is $435 per student, $39,000 total so that is our goal this year so that all students can attend.

We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small, especially since we recognize that many families are struggling during this time. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.
