On April 9th, I am lacing up my sneakers and running my best at the Blanton Elementary Move-a-thon. This event raises money for me and my classmates to continue being enriched with Science, Art, Drama, and other essential programs but no longer provided by our education system.

I would appreciate it (and so would my schoolmates) if you could help support me.

The Blanton Elementary PTA is excited to be hosting our second annual Move-a-thon!

The Blanton Move-a-thon is a health celebration and fundraiser. Students collect pledges and earn money for each lap they walk, jog, or run around the outdoor track. We hope our Bobcats will enthusiastically participate in all kinds of movement. Whether you roll in a wheelchair, move with a cane or walker, walk or run the laps, we encourage all students and families to participate in this fun and memorable event.

• Education Intervention for Students in Need
• Teacher library restock, appreciation, and scholarships
