About this fundraiser:

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! We are a group of 6th-8th grade students who attend Brooklyn Urban Garden School (BUGS), a middle school in Brooklyn. Like many city public/charter schools, we don't have a lot of space or resources for sports teams at our school.

Just this year, a wonderful thing happened! A group of dedicated PTA parents found a partner organization, Sports United, who could run afterschool basketball clinics for ALL interested students, as well as games vs. other neighborhood teams.

It's been a game changer to have a basketball 'team' proudly represent BUGS and this opportunity is giving many students the chance to exercise, build character, sportsmanship, camaraderie and school spirit.

We are fundraising to be able to continue this amazing opportunity and the BUGS team into 2025.
