Help spread the word
About this fundraiser:
The Cartoon Art Museum is excited to announce a new fundraising event to encourage folks to read graphic novels, the Graphic Novel Read-a-thon! From February 22nd through March 7th, participants can read graphic novels and help support the Cartoon Art Museum at the same time! This event is in conjunction with Will Eisner Week (Read a Graphic Novel Week) and the San Francisco Comic Fest week (March 1st through March 7th), where CAM and others will be hosting events and promotions in support of comics and the great Will Eisner, father of the Graphic Novel.
Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.
About the Cartoon Art Museum:
The Cartoon Art Museum is a nonprofit museum dedicated to igniting imaginations and fostering the next generation of visual storytellers by celebrating the history of cartoon art, its role in society, and its universal appeal. Our vision is to be the premier destination to experience cartoon art in all its many forms from around the world, and a leader in providing insight into the process of creating it.
Established in 1984, the museum has presented hundreds of exhibitions, thousands of events and workshops over our 36 year history. The Cartoon Art Museum has something for everyone—from comic strips, comic books and anime to political cartoons, graphic novels and underground comix. People of all ages can view original cartoon art at exhibitions and screenings, produce their own comics and animation at classes and workshops, research deeply into our collection and library, and mix and mingle with professional and aspiring cartoonists.
We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your financial support.
Your donations will help pay for:
