About this fundraiser:

Laps-4-Loot is a fundraiser for the Marlins in which swimmers earn money for their team by swimming lengths of the pool. Swimmers have their practice time to complete as many laps as possible. Participants get pledges from businesses, family, neighbors, etc. prior to swimming. 100% of the proceeds will go back to Cordova Blue Marlins! In addition to this being an exciting fundraiser event, it is also a fantastic opportunity for our Blue Marlin’s swimmers to socialize and have a fun time doing what they love best – SWIM!

The money raised goes directly to support the team! Even though the team is a Cordova Recreation and Parks District program, the registration fees only cover our use of the pool and coaching staff. All other equipment needed to run the meets, from pop-up tents and printers to highlighters and wipes, must be paid for by the team. Fundraising also supports our social events and ensures we have fins and other equipment for practices.
