'A Walk Toward Healing' - Chicago Survivors is hosting a Walk Fundraiser on Sunday, June 9th from 2pm-5pm at Elmhurst University Location: 190 S Prospect Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126.

Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate your commitment to a safer and more compassionate Chicago during our Walk Fundraiser!

How Do I walk?

This event is free to register but donations are highly encouraged, The suggested donation for an adult is $25, $15 for seniors, $5 for kids. You can sign up to donate here: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/chicagosurvivors/donate

About the Walk:

The walk is approximately 2.25 miles. The walk will begin in the back of the Elmhurst University Frick Center building which is where the University Mall is located. The walk will begin promptly at 2 PM and will be completed by 5 PM. The course for the walk strolls through the beautifully manicured Elmhurst University grounds, by the awesome Be Bold Be Elmhurst mural, and through some of Elmhurst’s most historic neighborhoods. All ages are welcome at this family-friendly event.

You can help by walking, volunteering, donating, leading a team, by becoming a sponsor.

The cost to become a sponsor is $100 for the 2024 walk. The sponsor will receive:

1) A table on the day of the event near the start of the walk
2) A mention in the press release
3) Logo on the event website page
4) Logo on the event flyer
5) A Team bearing the sponsors name

How Do I Lead a team? Please email volunteers at awalktowardhealing@gmail.com

There is no cost to lead a team. We suggest each team make a goal of $200 to raise but this is a goal. There is not a mandatory amount to raise if your team falls short.
