About this fundraiser:

The Deep Freeze Skating Club is raising funds for our figure skating program and a local charity--The Piggyback Foundation of Youngstown--in our 1st Annual Deep Freeze Skate-a-Thon Fundraiser & Charity Event on February 25th, 2024. The Piggyback Foundation helps support families in our area who have children suffering from serious illness. 10% of what we raise will go to this great cause, and our young skaters will learn the joy of serving the community through our activities. We are also on a mission to make participation in figure skating more affordable for members of our community. Olympic silver medalist Paul Wylie was so excited about our goals that he has offered figure skating lessons in Lake Placid, NY to skaters achieving top fundraising results! We hope you'll donate or pledge support to one of our Skate-a-Thon skaters.
