Doral Academy's Color Run is set to take place on September 25th. This is the PTO's biggest fundraiser of the year. Money raised will be used to fund the many different needs of the school throughout the year including funding for bus transportation for field trips, PE and athletic programs, and music and arts integration resources.

Last year, with the funds that were received, we were able to purchase the following:
-Heart Sculpture and installation
-Gaga Ball pit for outdoor recess
-$12k for kindergarten playground improvements
-$15k to PE
-$18k for buses
-Various staff events including staff appreciation week, stock lounge, wellness/sunshine committee funds
-iReady
-SchoolPass
-Family events including chili cook off and STEAM night
-8th grade sweatshirts and sunset
-Art curriculum
-Sheet music to add to the music dept library
-Stage production materials
-Ice machine for science dept
-Headphones for computer carts
-And many more miscellaneous fund requests that were made
throughout the year

We are a school where student learning thrives and children feel good about the place they call their school. We believe this is due to the incredible students that attend our school, our awesome staff who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning and more importantly the incredible support of our Dragon families. We would not be able to offer the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun and unique things we do here at Doral without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small and that donations of any size are welcome.
