Help spread the word
About this fundraiser:
We are raising money for our robotics team, FRC 8592 (Newton Squared). We are part of the youth robotics program at Nova Labs, a community makerspace in Northern Virginia. FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) is an international robotics competition for high school students. Each year, students work together to build a fully functional robot in six weeks to compete in that year's game.
Our expenses for the season are expected to exceed $50,000, especially if we make it all the way to the World Championship like we did past two years. In order to make participation affordable for our students, team dues cover less than half of the total cost. We want to make it to the World Championship in Houston again in 2025 and we hope you can help us get there.
If you wish to donate by check, please write the check to "Nova Labs" and include in the memo line: "FRC 8592" and the name of the team member who has inspired you to donate. Mail the check to: Nova Labs Robotics, 3850 Jermantown Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030
