About this fundraiser:

The STEM Program at Rossmoor Elementary School - including the teacher’s salary, lab supplies, and all activities are independently funded by Friends of Rossmoor (FOR), a parent-founded, non-profit organization. FOR, which represents the families of Rossmoor Elementary, needs to raise a minimum of $100,000 annually to continue to fund our STEM Program.

Our goal for STEM-A-THON is $15,000!

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education teaches critical thinking and innovation, provides unique opportunities for teamwork, helps students develop problem-solving skills, fosters creativity, builds resilience, encourages experimentation, and teaches skills students can apply to the real world in a multitude of ways.

With your help, the students at Rossmoor Elementary will continue to have an amazing STEM Lab, teacher, and unique experiences that are invaluable to their future. By donating, you will help FOR provide meaningful memories for our Rossmoor Knights. Your children would not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things they do every week without your monetary support.

In addition to funding the STEM program, FOR also supports the Rossmoor House System with supplies for the House service projects.
