Please donate $1 (or 2!) for every mile I run on my birthday.
Every dollar will go towards university scholarships for students in Cameroon. I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon and I know so many brilliant students who dream of attending university, if they only had the means. These are the future doctors, nurses, and educators of Cameroon!
$1,200 covers school fees to a local university, textbooks, and rent for a year. My goal is to raise enough money for 10 students to attend university next year.
Disclaimer: I'm aiming to run 35 miles, although the most I've ever done is 26 and it wasn't pretty. Wish me luck, or better yet, join me for part of the run!
