About this fundraiser:

The G.A.A. P.T.G. is challenging the students to read over 2,000 hours from Monday, October 30th through Friday, November 17th in our second annual Read-A-Thon! The theme this year is Gratitude. The Read-a-Thon will highlight ways to show gratitude in our daily lives and encourage all students to read everyday.

The Read-a-Thon website will track each student's donations and the classroom standings. You can search for a particular student or just make a general donation.

STUDENT PRIZES:

Each student participant with at least one donation will receive a prize.

The classroom with the most dollars raised will win a classroom prize of a pizza party, an extra 30 minutes of recess, and the Read-A-Thon Trophy.

Each student, with a donation, that turns in a completed BINGO card will be entered into the drawing for a reading prize. The BINGO card is available to print from the Option C email or pick up a hard copy at the office.

Posts to our Gratitude Wall and Favorite Book Wall, located in the school lobby wall, gain entry into a raffle for a mystery student AND teacher/staff prize.

FAMILY PRIZE:

Each family that has at least $100 in donations will receive entry into a raflle to have your family's fundraising quota balance paid off, equal to an amount up to $700!

10% of donations will be credited to the family fundraising goal.

TEACHER PRIZE:

Each class that has 100% participation (all students have a least one donation) will enter their teacher into a raffle for an awesome teacher prize.

BARNES & NOBLE BOOK FAIR EVENT

New this year: Barnes and Noble Settler's Ridge will donate a portion of their sales in store on Saturday, November 4, 2023 (online orders 11/4-11/10) to the G.A.A. Read-a-Thon! Come out and shop that day and earn rewards for our PTG.

Last year the Read-a-Thon raised over $6,000 for the P.T.G. Every dollar raised helps the P.T.G. support classroom resrouces and student activities. We hope to surpass last year's goal with your help.
