Dear Friends and Family,

Welcome to my Pledge Page! I really appreciate that you are even considering donating to this amazing cause! Me and other players are banding together to play in the first HAA Hit-A-Thon on 5/20/18. This event will raise money for HAA to build much needed dugouts on the 3 fields inside the beautiful Hampton Community Park. This is going to be a great event and I am going to do my best to be a huge part of this community effort!

I would appreciate it (and so would the other 500+ fellow players) if you could help support me. HAA is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code and donations may be tax deductible!

How it Works
At the Hit-A-Thon, each player will receive 10 pitches from a coach. (T-ball players will get 10 swings off a tee.) The hits will be recorded and entered onto each player's pledge page. Regardless of the actual outcome, all players will receive credit for a minimum of 5 hits, with a 10-hit maximum.

About this fundraiser:

Hampton Athletic Association (HAA) is a recreational community baseball and softball organization that offers players at all skill levels an opportunity to play the game they love. HAA has undertaken a project that will provide much needed improvement to their fields. The project includes the construction of new dugouts at each of the three fields, extension of the backstop area on two of the fields, replacement of fencing where needed, reconfiguration of spectator seating for better views of the game, laser leveling of all three fields, and scoreboard replacement on all three fields. These improvements will be started upon the completion of the spring baseball and softball seasons (early July 2018) and is expected to be finished in time for the 2018 fall season.

Individual Winners:
1st place: A True All-star Experience! A chance to be in the stands and on the field in one day! What you get: 4 tickets to a 2018 Pirates home game AND 4 field passes to watch Batting Practice! Let's Go Bucs, Let's Go YOU!

2nd place: Are we really giving someone a chance to not only go to a game, but also this out the first pitch! The only thing "wilder" would be if we get you in the dugout during the game... Oh yes we did! What you get: 4 tickets to a Washington Wild Things game of their choice, throw out the first pitch of the game AND sit in the dugout with the team for an inning! Seriously.

3rd place: Baseball equipment is expensive. GREAT equipment if even more! Why not help you out here with something GREAT?? Winner gets a glove donated by A1 Glove.

Team Winners:
1st Place Team, The Ultimate! Big money gets you big air with this experience for everyone! All members of the winning team will receive an Ultimate Experience pass at the new Urban Air Adventure Park in Cranberry Township. This pass is good for 2.5 hours of access to all of the attractions at Urban Air! The passes will be given to the team members and they can choose to go as a team or individually.

2nd Place Team: The team’s choice of either "The Homer” where the winning team will go to Amazing Glaze Donut Company to learn how to make donuts, get to decorate their own donuts, and of course get to enjoy your hard work. The team will go as a team at a mutually agreeable time with Amazing Glaze Donuts.
OR
the 2nd place team can select “Pasquale’s Pizza Time” where the team will go to Pasquale’s Pizza to learn how to make Pizzas and have a “pizza party” when they are finished making the pizzas. The team will go as a team at a mutually agreeable time with Pasquale’s Pizza.

3rd place Team: The third place team will be awarded "The Leftovers"! Don't let the name fool you though! You get the experience that the 2nd place team winner doesn’t select, and your team will get to enjoy the entire experience listed above!
