About this fundraiser:

Sitka Gymnastics Academy believes that gymnastics should be accessible to all, regardless of financial situation.Although we do our best to keep our prices as low as possible, there are many families who need help with tuition in our small, isolated, and expensive island town. As a private facility, we receive no government funding to support our gymnastics program. We therefore rely on tuition to cover all overhead costs and fundraise to support the tuition of the families in financial need.

We are asking friends and family from across the USA to help support our scholarship fund by pledging a flat amount or per second handstand/headstand is held within a 10 minute timeframe.

Over the past 5 years SGA has made kids stronger, more flexible, and more confident. Our ultimate goal is to promote healthy and determined individuals who are ready to conquer the world and its challenges as they enter adulthood. Gymnastics is far more than a sport, it gives children the tools to learn to overcome challenges and work through frustrations. By working hard and persevering, gymnasts learn what it takes to reach ultimate goals. They learn that these goals take time and patience. Our program serves nearly 180 Sitka Youth.
