Leslie Harley

Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers November 9th and walking and rollin my best at the Families for HoPE, HoPE Walk ‘N’ Roll. This event raises money to support the services and programs Families for HoPE provides to all children affected by Holoprosencephaly and their families.

I would appreciate it (and so would the 1,500 other families) if you could help support me.

Thanks in advance for your support!

About this fundraiser:

Families for HoPE, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed to address the needs of families and children diagnosed with holoprosencephaly (HPE) and related brain malformations.

Holoprosencephaly, have you personally heard of it? HPE is the most common brain malformation in a developing fetus, but because the affected pregnancies typically end in early miscarriage, most individuals have never heard of it. Medical research indicates that only 3% of fetuses with HPE survive to birth, and very little hope is given for those who do survive.

Deeply committed to raising awareness of holoprosencephaly, a group of HPE families in Arizona are joining together to host an awareness event and fundraising walk on November 9, 2019. The event will be held at Power Ranch Park 4546 E. Haven Crest Drive Gilbert, AZ 85297.

Our grass-roots efforts to raise awareness of holoprosencephaly among the general public begins with the efforts we make right here in our own community to create a ripple effect that will grow across the U.S.

Your donations will help pay for:

  • To provide support for all stages in the HPE journey
  • Funding for the 2020 Family Conference on HPE
