Help spread the word
About this fundraiser:
If there ever was time to pay attention to school board elections, now is the time, even if you do not have children in the district! What families once trusted to be a safe harbor for children is no longer the case. What you are hearing across the country regarding the radical changes in education are being implemented right here in your communities. I cannot implore you enough to understand the direction school board candidates intend to take your district and to vote smart at the polls. What is happening, will change this country.
Children have the right to grow without suggestive rhetoric. They must learn how to think — not what to think. Education must be free from an agenda that breaks down pride in our country, the normal development of childhood innocence, and parental rights.
I am the best candidate for this office because, as a product of Arlington TX Independent School District, I believe in the vision of the community and that pushing this vision will help aid in elevating Arlington through the improvement of our educational outcomes and academic experiences of our learners. My Platform is loosely based on the 10 Green Values of the Green Party. I am currently a student in the Tarrant County College District. I am currently serve as the Senate Chair in the Tarrant County College South Campus Student Government Association. I have also served on a few of the Tarrant County College South Campus Councils as Student Representative. I have specifically been active in the Equity and Inclusion Council, Staff Advisory Council, Strategic Enrollment Management Advisory, Facilities & Safety Council. I also have attended meeting's of the Tarrant County College South Aesthetics Committee. I am also a member of the Tarrant County College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and done some volunteer work in that organization. I feel that with my life experience working at a institute of higher education would make me an excellent School Board Trustee.
I cannot win this race without your help. We must go back to the grassroots approaches to achieve this goal: word-of-mouth, volunteering, canvasing neighborhoods, and donating. Together we can do it.
“The battle for the future of our schools is heating up. On one side are powerful and wealthy figures who see our public schools as a potential source of profit. On the other side are parents, teachers, and students who are fighting to defend and improve our public schools.”
