Dear Friends and Family,

I am excited to be part of the 2023-2024 John Burroughs High School music program. I am hoping to perform with my band at Disney's California Adventures on March 4th if we are able to raise the remaining funds necessary!

About this fundraiser:

While John Burroughs High School and the Burbank Unified School District provide the means for a quality performing arts education, there is more that our program needs to remain among the top high school musical programs in the area. Beyond the financial support from the school system, which provides a band director and facilities, the JBHS Instrumental Music Association and its booster club rely on donations to support our programs throughout the school year.

Our fundraising goal for 2023-2024 has been $75,000 and with your help, we are more than halfway there! But we are still a little bit short of being able to perform at Disneyland's California Adventures on March 4th. And to round out the year with Jazz Band, Classical Band, Drumline & Color Guard festivals and competitions we need to raise the remaining 30k!

Additionally, students in our Drumline program need to raise an additional $500 each in order to participate in all 4 percussion competitions + finals (if qualified).

We will not have a robust music program without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small. Your contributions are truly appreciated!
