About this fundraiser:

We are excited for the opportunities that the 2023-2024 school year brings to the John F. Kennedy (JFK) High School Marching Band and Color Guard! It’s been an interesting few years and our band has been through some ups and downs. We need your help/support to stay alive.

On 9/16/23 from 9am to 9pm, the students will be having a Rehearse-a-thon to practice on their upcoming marching band season.

We are asking for sponsors to help them reach the school's fundraising goal. Will you help by making a flat donation?

We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.

History:

Since 1977, our mission as a nonprofit organization has been to ensure that our students get the best possible music education!
In addition to the 4th of July Parade (Pocket/Greenhaven neighborhood), our band and color guard will be showcasing the talents of our young musicians at halftime performances at every JFK football game, band competitions and concerts throughout California, and the 2024 Martin Luther King, Jr. parade.
In order to compete at the next level, our band and color guard shows will require additional field props, uniforms, travel expenses, staffing, meals for students at camps and performances, and so much more.

We need our community to join us in our mission this year by providing additional financial support to our program!
