About this fundraiser:
On Friday Oct. 25, from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m., JM will host its annual Color Run and Fall Festival. This is the PTA's annual fundraiser.
What is JM's Color Run? During the school day, every student will recieve a white JM t-shirt to wear, designed by the student winner of this year's contest. After school, the fun starts! Students will run around an obstacle course while others toss colored powder at them. The colors show up well on white T-shirts and don't worry it washes out.
The money raised will be used to pay for school improvement projects (ex. umbrellas to provide much needed shade on the picnic tables), provide events for JM students and their families, support the school and teachers with additional funds and provide JAG Cares grants for students in need. PTA Programs include, Socials, Dance lessons, Fall Festival, Cultures and Traditions Night, Parents Socials, Spring Carnival, Theater Program, Reflections Program, Creative Arts & Writing, Science Fair, Makers Faire, and more.
JM PTA hopes to raise $30,000 this year. A donation of $50 from every student would get us there. Families should donate what they can at the level that works best for them.
Since this is our big fundraiser of the year, even if your student doesn't attend the Color Run and Fall Fest, we hope you will still donate.
Your donations will help pay for:
- Provide events and programs for JM
- Support the School and Teachers
- Provide JAG Cares Grants
