About this fundraiser:

The Knight Walk is the annual fundraiser for Blue Ridge Partners in Education (PIE). PIE is the Schneider Elementary Parent/Teacher Organization that coordinates volunteers and provides funding for activities and supplies for Schneider Elementary and its students. In recent years, we’ve helped fund things like new balls for the playground, items for the gotcha store, art racks, field trips, rental of a bounce house, meals for teachers during conferences, family movie night, treats for students on special days, and the fun signs that welcomed everyone back to school. These are things above and beyond what the district budget can provide, and they enhance the experience of learning at Schneider for all the kids that attend.

The Knight Walk is the only fundraising project PIE will ask students to raise money for this year, and 100% of the money raised will benefit Schneider. We know selling and delivering items can be a hassle (and the companies take a cut of the money earned), so for the Knight Walk, we ask that students request donations in any amount from family and friends who care about helping make Schneider the best it can be for our kids to learn and grow. Fundraising starts today and ends September 8th.

Once the fundraising is over, the real fun begins as we celebrate your fundraising efforts and kick off homecoming week with tons of school spirit at the Knight Walk event! It will be taking place at night on October 14th at the Blue Ridge High School football field. Families are invited to join as students make laps around the field, listen to the band, cheer with the cheerleaders, receive awards for being top fundraisers, and then stay for an outdoor movie!
