United In Music!
With over 170 students enrolled in 7 ensembles, the LD Bell Choir Department is consistently recognized for its commitment to musical and social excellence. Students in the LD Bell Choir Department maintain an active performance and competition schedule as both ensembles and soloists. The Choirs of LD Bell are consistent recipients of UIL Sweepstakes Awards and have been honored with two performance opportunities at the American Choral Directors Association Conventions. Individually, students in choir consistently place in the TMEA Region 31 All-Region and All-District Choirs, have been members of the Texas All-State Choir, and earn numerous superior ratings at Solo & Ensemble Competition. Choir students serve as ambassadors of the BHS Choral program and frequently perform at events throughout the community. In addition to their regularly scheduled performances, the Choirs of LD Bell compete in national choral festivals during which they are frequently named “Best-in-Class.” We could not engage in the wonderful music opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.
