About this fundraiser:

You are invited to be a game-changer for MARA Softball! We are hosting a Hit-A-Thon fundraiser, and we need your support!

The funds raised will be used to revitalize Field 9 and provide a new turf floor batting cage on field 10. (This will match the new cage on field 4.)

Project List

1) We will be moving and fixing the field 9 backstop to make play safer for older ages.
2) Removing the trees behind field 9's first base line to allow for more family seating.
3) Re-do the batting cage at field 10 to match the cage on field four. This includes a turf floor, new netting, and poles.

Funds raised beyond the goal will be used to enhance Field 10 with new Dugouts.

How it works:

On Sunday March 17, 2024, our players will step up to the plate for the Hit-A-Thon. Each participant will receive 15 pitches. You are pledging to support a participant for each 'hit'. At the end of the tournament, hits will be tabulated and entered into our tracking system. Flat donations are welcome.

All donations made are tax deductible and a tax receipt will be provided to everyone via email.

We invite you to witness the impact of your support firsthand at the Hit-A-Thon event on the afternoon of Sunday March 17, held on Fields 4, 9 and 10 at MARA, 1200 S Trade St, Matthews 28105.

Your donations will help pay for:

• Field 9 Enhancements (New Fencing, New Backstop and Seating)
• Field 10 Turf Batting Cage (Matching New Cage on Field Four)
• Field 10 Enhancements (New Dugouts)
