About this fundraiser:

Marin Dance Theatre is proud to host it's 15th annual “Raise the Barre" Dance-a-thon on Sunday, March 10th, 2024! The festivities for the day include unique dance workshops, catered lunch, raffles, a silent auction, a photo booth, the "Raise the Barre" scholarship announcements and more!

The proceeds from this event support Marin Dance Theatre’s many programs and classes, all of which make MDT one of the leading classical ballet facilities in the Bay Area. Our training curriculum includes ballet, contemporary, jazz, musical theater, pilates, and three performance opportunities throughout the year. Marin Dance Theatre also supports a drop-in Open Division for varied levels, Outreach Programs to our community with elementary schools and preschools, and our Parkinson's Dance Project.

Our goal for this event is to raise at least $100,000, which is our largest ever! This campaign will be funded directly from our silent auction, business donors, and raffle tickets, but the majority of the fundraising comes from donations raised by our students and family members from Marin Dance Theatre. We are grateful for all donations, large and small, and please know your participation is truly appreciated. TOGETHER we can “Raise-the-Barre”!
