About this fundraiser:
The therapeutic day school program at Miner School, (part of the Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization) provides a comprehensive educational program for students with a wide range of special needs including autism spectrum disorders, behavioral disorders, cognitive disabilities, physical/health impairments, and multiple disabilities. The elementary program is designed to meet the needs of students in Early Childhood through 8th Grade. Intensive supports are provided in a team-based instructional model that addresses the needs of the whole child within a caring and responsive therapeutic environment.
We are now preparing to hold our 1st EVER Roll n’ Stroll Community Fundraiser on April 30th, 2022. This event will allow our students, families, and community to participate in a community walk, with games and raffle in our own neighborhood located at Miner School.
The funds raised will help provide more curriculum and activities involved in Daily Living, as well as Community Based Instruction. Thanks to the donations of donors like you we will be able to purchase items that are adapted and allow for all our student access equipment and participate in activities that all students should be able to participate in.
We are aware that you receive numerous requests for donations, and we thank you for your consideration. Please know that any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
