About this fundraiser:

Help us honor our local Veterans by enrolling yourself and others in the First Annual Walk-A-Thon to raise funds for better future park care and maintenance of Veterans’ Memorial Causeway Park.

Show pride in Muskegon alongside others as you walk beautiful downtown Muskegon, starting at the iconic Hackley Clock Tower on June 17, 2023 starting at 10 AM. Note that the event is located at Hackley Square due to safety concerns with people crossing the highway at the causeway. We'll work to address this for future events, so can all be at Veterans’ Memorial Causeway Park for the walk!

Be sure to also visit Veterans’ Memorial Park for a chance to see the renovated ‘gateway’ to the Veterans Memorial Park on the southern side, which will be completely renovated to include:

- New colored fountain lights, spray ring & water jets
- Cleaned, tuck pointed, sealed masonry.
- New color flower beds at both ends of the park
- New universally accessible route to the fountain
- A manicure of the park at the fountain end

If you would prefer to make a direct contribution to the event, please make checks payable to Veterans’ Memorial Park Care Fund – CFMC. Drop them off at the day of the walk to park organizers or mail them to Community Foundation for Muskegon County at 425 W Western Ave, Muskegon, MI 49440.
