About this fundraiser:

PC and nine of her friends, all survivors of abuse or abandonment, are now rehabilitated and have the chance of a lifetime! My resources are limited and there are no shelters here for them in Nicaragua. Very few people want to adopt cats here, especially black cats. Quality vet care for cats is lacking here and because of local superstitious beliefs, PC's nine friends face a grim, short future if released onto the streets in Nicaragua. It is too expensive, and too traumatic for them to be flown to the U.S. or elsewhere, so we are going to settle in for now in Nicaragua. I will still conduct my online and in-person healing seminars, and healer training from the new establishment.

OUR GOAL:
With help of local builders, I want to build a modest cob/earthbag structure (600 to 800 sqft in size) that will act as a safe haven for myself as caretaker and my rescued cat friends. My doors will remain open for a limited number of other rescue cats for as long as I can afford to house them. But we URGENTLY need your help to raise between 7000 and 15000 USD.
