Rancho Buena Vista High School's top band has been honored with an exclusive invitation to perform at the January 2025 California All-State Music Education Conference in Sacramento, California.

Out of sixty applicants, their Wind Ensemble is one of only two high school bands selected, marking a significant achievement for the students and the community.

California All-State Music Education Conference (CASMEC) is a renowned event for music educators from across California.

This year, the Rancho Buena Vista High School (RBVHS) band stood out among fierce competition, earning a coveted spot to showcase their musical talent.

"I am incredibly proud of our student's work ethic and dedication to musical excellence," said Eric Weirather, Band Director at Rancho Buena Vista.

The band’s performance will bring pride to Vista, CA.

To ensure the band’s participation, the RBVHS band’s booster organization the “RBV Ranch Hands” is seeking support from the community. Sponsorships and donations are vital to covering the costs associated with travel, accommodation, and participation in this prestigious event.

We invite local businesses, community members, and media outlets to join us in celebrating this accomplishment and supporting our talented students.

Any remaining funds raised will go directly towards the overall RBV Band & Color Guard program.
