About this fundraiser:

The Rock Creek Elementary PTO was established to support the students, teachers, and staff of Rock Creek Elementary in O'Fallon, Missouri. We work to enhance and support the educational experience of Rock Creek Elementary, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement, and to improve the environment at Rock Creek Elementary through volunteer and financial support.

We provide a number of resources and events for the students and families of RCE. For example, we purchased seat back pockets, lanyards for face masks, additional playground equipment, and ice machine for the nurses office to better prepare the school for this school year and COVID 19. In prior years, we have purchased chrome books, rugs for classrooms, coolers for field trips, dinner for the teachers on Parent/Teacher conference night, and inside recess equipment. Additionally, every year we purchase the STAR Reading Program, provide t-shirts for 5th Grade Camp and DARE Program, provide $50 per teacher for their classroom, and support the Marathon (Reading) Program. We also host such events as the Ice Cream Social, Trunk or Treat, Santa Breakfast, Valentine's Day Dance, and two book fairs (generally held in October and April).

This year we are running a Rocket-a-thon to raise funds for the many ways we support RCE. The Rocket-a-thon is designed to encourage participation in the school's current Marathon program, which emphasizes reading, exercise, acts of kindness, and math practice. Participation in these activities leads our students to being Respectful Rockets! Students are able to "double-dip" anything they do during this fundraiser in both the fundraiser and the Marathon program.

We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.
