Goal: $30,000

Help spread the word

About this fundraiser:

In light of these incredibly challenging times, the Redondo Sunset Youth Baseball and Softball League is kicking off this fundraiser to donate 500+ meal kits and $50 grocery gift cards to South Bay families whose lives have recently been affected due to Covid-19. We have received an outpouring of emails from our community asking if there is a way to help our South Bay families that are in dire need of groceries and food.

We are proud to be partnering with our long time sponsor Good Stuff, in tandem with Mickey's Deli, Gaetano's, Bettolino's, and Torrance Bakery who will together be assembling a Family Meal Kit.

The actual Family Food Drive will be held at the Redondo Sunset Fields at Alta Vista Park on Saturday May 23rd from 3pm to 5pm. We will have a vehicle drive thru set up and volunteers will be handing the bags of food and gift cards directly into the car windows or trunks. Safety is of the utmost concern and volunteers handing the food bags into the cars will be wearing masks and gloves.

We are asking for your support to not only help us raise funds by sharing these links with your family and friends, but to also spread the word to people in need to please come to the Family Food Drive on May 23rd. We all know people who are suffering right now and from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support.

If you are a family in need, we ask you to reach out to us directly at redondosunsetsupport@gmail.com
