With the Holiday Season approaching rapidly and lives busy with commitments competing for everyone’s time, unfortunately, the turnout wasn’t high enough to run tomorrow’s Glutes for Good fundraising event, and so we are having to CANCEL the live Hip-Thrust-A-Thon.

Our purpose hasn’t changed — supporting a dear friend battling metastasized colon cancer and so Donations remain OPEN and are deeply appreciated (closing Sunday, 12/14 at midnight).

Why?

Every lift tells a story of strength, hope, and community. GLUTES FOR GOOD brings lifters together for one simple goal — to turn raw power into real support for dear friend and cherished Palencia Community Member Sabrina Taj-Taj, who is fiercely fighting Stage 4 Colon Cancer.

How?

Participants will load up the bar for a series of hip-thrusts, as donors pledge per pound lifted. Every thrust, every pound, every cheer adds up to help cover treatment and recovery costs. 100% of pledges and donations received will go to Sabrina & her son.

Our Hip-Thrusters can choose between a PR or a 60-second AMRAP (as many reps as possible). They each get 3 attempts. The highest score will count.

This is more than just lifting. It’s about showing that even in tough times, we rise — literally and together. Whether you’re beneath the barbell, cheering from the sidelines, or pledging from afar, your contribution fuels more than strength training. It fuels healing, hope, and human connection.

So grab your gym buddies, friends, colleagues, neighbors and family and help us prove what a community with purpose can lift.
