About this fundraiser:

March is national reading month, so for the entire month of March, we will be holding a Read-a-thon. Our goal is to raise $3,000 and have 3,000 books read!

The St. James Read-a-thon is a fundraiser that supports our school and each student's personal reading development goal. The fundraiser supports the St. James Scholarship Fund.

How It Works:

Parents will be asked to keep track of the books their child has read or was read to each week. Log sheets will be given to every student and collected on Mondays. Siblings and family members are welcome to join in, too – reading is fun for the whole family! The last week of March will be a celebration of all the reading that was done!

How to Make a Pledge:

The pledges are not based on the number of books read but are simply donations. The link provides suggested donation amounts but feel free to give whatever amount you would like by clicking the “other” button. No donation is too small - every little bit helps!

St. James Scholarship:

Each year St. James awards partial or whole scholarships to families who are either financially unable to complete a full year's tuition or have other extenuating circumstances. Requests for scholarships are sent to the Registrar in complete confidentiality, who then defer to the Rector for final determination. Each request is fully vetted. We are very proud of our scholarship program and the families we have helped. Inevitably we exceed the amount of money budgeted for this expense which is met throughout the year as the need arises. We are thankful to our parents for their generosity in supporting this important part of the St. James Preschool community.
