The school year may be winding down but we are gearing up for one of the biggest events at Summit this year - the Summit Fun Run: Level Up! will be held on Friday, May 12! Rain date is May 15.

The Fun Run incorporates Summit's educational goal of healthy living and making healthy choices, and also raises money for the school we love. This year's proceeds will go towards two efforts for Summit. The first $40,000 raised will fulfill our fundraising goal of $100,000 for this school year. All funds beyond $40,000 will be used to offer our returning Summit staff signing bonuses and additional professional development funds for next year. Our teachers and staff choose to work at Summit knowing that they could make more money in a public school system or in the private sector. But they choose to work at Summit because of the impact they make on the lives our our students as they work to fulfill the mission of Summit. We are SO appreciative of the monetary sacrifice they make and we are constantly trying to find ways to thank them and give back to them. We would love to be able to bless our teachers and staff with subtantial bonuses and professional development opportunities! In order to do this, we are hopeful that ALL students and families will join in participating and giving back.

Fun Run: Level Up! Schoolwide Incentives:
-$50,000 raised schoolwide - Summit students will enjoy the AirFX climbing wall for our Fun Run!!
-$40,000 raised schoolwide - Summit students will be able to watch Super Mario Bros. (Disney, 1993) at the end of the Fun Run day!!
-$30,000 raised schoolwide - Summit students will cool off with a frozen treat bar on Fun Run Day!!

Fun Run: Level Up! Classroom Incentives:
*All amounts for classrooms are prorated to the number of students in the classroom and goals will be posted on the classroom door.
-Each classroom that reaches the 4 Star Level earns the opportunity for their teacher to participate in an Inflatable Obstacle Course Race on the Fun Run Day!
-Each classroom that reaches the 3 Star Level earns the opportunity to participate in a Student Races on an Inflatable Obstacle Courseon Fun Run Day!
-Each classroom that reaches the 2 Star Level earns a Mario Goodie Bag.
-Each classroom that reaches the 1 Star Level earns the opportunity to enjoy a Glow Room on our Fun Run Day!
