About this fundraiser:

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who supported! This was just one part of our fund-raising. We did fund-raising on campus as well including Penny Wars and snack sales. Also notable was a considerable donation from Larry Drown of Campus Kids. Thanks to all of you, we covered the basic expenses.

The Peanut Butter Boba Cobras from Theiss Elementary in Klein ISD are going to Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City. The team needs to raise funds for expenses including airfare and hotel.

The team took 1st place in the North Harris County regional tournament and 3rd place in the Texas Lone Star Finals, which qualified them to compete at DI Globals, which will be an exciting opportunity for the all-girl team to demonstrate their performance excellence.

The Peanut Butter Boba Cobras do the improv challenge in Destination Imagination. For this challenge, they've researched festivals from around the world, and they improvise funny stories that highlight the cultures and communities they've studied.

We're doing some fund-raising at school, too, but with this outreach we can reach supporters who live outside our community.
