Dear Friends and Family,

I'm super excited to be a part of the the Wailers' 2025 Vertical Challenge to benefit the Unrecables. a 501(c)(3) charity and 100% volunteer-based organization, serving the recreational needs of people with disabilities. The Unrecables promote adaptive sports, and encourage people with disabilities to participate in sports, recreational, and social activities in their communities.

My goal (or my team's goal) is to ski/ride a minimum of 10,000 vertical feet (with a max. of 20,000 vf) and raise a minimum of $250 per participant/$500 per team for the Unrecables.

I would appreciate your support by making a pledge per-1000 vertical feet that I (or my team collectively) skis/rides on March 15, 2025. We also accept flat-fee donations in lieu of a pledge.

The Wailers’ Vertical Challenge is a ski-a-thon that combines our love of winter sports with fundraising for The Unrecables, a 501(c)(3) charity and 100% volunteer-based organization, serving the recreational needs of people with disabilities. The Unrecables promote adaptive sports, and encourage people with disabilities to participate in sports, recreational, and social activities in their communities.

HOW IT WORKS: Each pledge is a dollar amount based on 1,000 vertical feet covered by our skiers/riders from 10 AM to 3 PM. Each skier/riders' (or team's) vertical feet will be tracked by an app.

For example, you pledge of $2 and the skier/rider (or team collectively) covers 10,000 feet during the vertical challenge, that results in a $20 payment.

NOTE: THE MAXIMUM VERTICAL FEET WILL BE CAPPED AT 20,000 for pledge purposes so, your commitment is locked in at no more than $donated x 20,000 vf.
